Benny Family Assistant - Terms and Conditions

1. SERVICE

Benny is a private, non-commercial text-message assistant application operated by an individual for her own household. It manages a shared family calendar, a grocery list, reminders, and school-related notifications. It is not sold, licensed, advertised, or made available to the public.

2. WHO MAY USE IT

Use is limited to the account holder and members of her immediate household. There is no public enrollment. Minors in the household participate with the permission and under the supervision of their parents.

3. CONSENT TO RECEIVE MESSAGES

The account holder designates the eligible household phone lines in the application configuration, and no messages are sent to a designated line until that household member opts in by texting the keyword BENNY (or any first message) to Benny Family Assistant at +1 (619) 983-0434 from their own phone. That first text is the consent action. By texting the number, a household member agrees to receive text messages in reply, along with the scheduled reminders the account holder has configured. Consent for a minor household member's line is given on the minor's behalf by a parent. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. 4. MESSAGE FREQUENCY AND CHARGES

Message frequency varies and is low, typically a few messages per day at most. Message and data rates may apply. The service itself is free; any charges come from the recipient's own mobile carrier.

Message delivery is subject to network availability; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. OPTING OUT AND HELP

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help. Carrier-standard keywords including STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT are all honored. A member who has opted out can rejoin at any time by texting START. Replying HELP returns the operator's contact information (alexandnicosmom@gmail.com).

6. NO MARKETING

Benny sends no marketing, promotional, or commercial messages of any kind, and never messages anyone outside the household.

7. ACCURACY AND RELIANCE

Benny is an automated assistant and can be wrong or incomplete. It is a convenience for household coordination and should not be relied upon for anything time-critical, medical, financial, or otherwise consequential. Household members should verify anything important.

8. PRIVACY

Use of the service is governed by the Privacy Policy at https://familyassistantbenny.com/privacy-policy. Mobile phone numbers and messaging consent data are never shared, sold, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

9. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

The service is provided as-is, may be interrupted or discontinued at any time, and these terms may be updated. It is a personal project maintained for one family.
